I absolutely love living in Mid-City! The neighborhood is constantly alive with people walking their dogs, going to the park, and running down the Lafitte Greenway. Even with the bustling busybodies, it still remains a relatively quiet neighborhood, which is nice in a robust city such as New Orleans. Although I’d love to see the crime rate go down, I still have to say that I feel very comfortable and safe in Mid-City. I wouldn’t want to live in any other neighborhood.

The community I'm blessed to live surrounded by is truly a gift. My neighbors are helpful and most I would consider family. However, my neighborhood is also plagued with litter and stray cats. It saddens me to see my home reduced by things to easy to control if we just put a little extra effort in. I see people throw trash out their car windows without a second thought. I think we all need to learn to appreciate and take care of our neighborhood. It's what I call home.
It's amazing here! Directly in the middle of every part of the city, Mid City is easily accessible, safe, and a great place for the family.
