In the city of Santa Ana a new downtown has been established, which unites many people from different cities. In the past ten years this downtown has been bustling with new restaurants and night life events. Several restaurants offer great specials such as a "happy hour" time and the drinks are amazing! The food and and restaurant quality is grade A and it very convenient for a night out with friends or family.

My city has its faults like any other one, but this is my home and where I grew up. I know Santa Ana and the people who give it character. The Latino-Hispanic culture bring vibrancy and blend of cultural backgrounds. I would choose to live in Santa Ana again because it is a city that cares for the residents. I rank Santa Ana a ten out of ten because we are about twenty minutes from the beach and half an hour away from the inland empire. Overall, we have the best of both worlds. There are a lot of renovations being made to schools and the down town area, so I foresee this area turning into an artistic city with important history behind it.
Unfortunately, there is vandalism here and there. Getting you car damaged by passing. By drivers happens a lot and graffiti is very common. The percentage of homeless people in the streets has also increased.
