I have lived in Losco (FL), for nearly my entire life, and i'd have to say it is a pretty nice neighborhood. Everything is very close, within walking distance, and the only threat would be the high traffic along the major road ways. I feel safe walking in my neighborhood, there is not any noticeable crime active here, maybe aside from the rampant local geese. There are several public schools within the area that are also within walking distance, that equally serve as evacuation shelters for when any hurricanes hit. Nights aren't very busy which is great, and due to the high amount of stores there are perfect job opportunities if one is in a pinch or is just getting started in the world. The only downside would be the high rent do to it being a very accessible place.
I love the Mandarin area. I grew up here. It's very easy to get around here most things are in short travel distance.I am not very fond of all of the road work going on had been this way for years. The area has grown a lot . They could use improvement of night life as well as family activities in this area. Overall I love this area!
I believe this area is very family friendly. When we need each other we tend to be there for each other. In my neighborhood the parents are sick, the other parents take care of there kids so they have the proper care to get better. (the parents) The parks are beautiful and has something for all ages. There is plenty to do around here.
