I have near Manayunk for 3 out my 4 years of college and had the pleasure to live in this perfect little town for my senior year of college. It is the perfect location for any college student or young adult. There is always something going on whether it is a StrEAT Festival or the Art Festival, Manayunk never disappoints. You can walk up and down Main Street and find anything! Theres plenty of food and drink places as well as cute stores to find that diamond in the rough. As a struggling college kid, Manayunk also provides a plethora of options for people like myself to find a job and easily walk down to Main Street and make some extra money we all need.

I live in the east falls section Near Henry Avenue and Roberts, which is kinda like Manayunk related I guess, but I think I moreso live in east falls lol. But anyway, I walk to a post office in Manayunk on ridge avenue pretty often and everytime, the people there are so nice. They're always friendly and most are ready to smile or say hello as we pass each other by. It makes me feel so good as an African American. Seeing people of another color be so kind always makes my day whenever I'm in a suburban or suburban-like neighborhood. I'm black and I have a beard, so it's good to know that people are not intimidated by me, because I'm somebody that loves people and would give anybody my last penny. So Manayunk/East falls is a great place to live.
Manayunk is quickly transforming from a former college-drinking-town into a vibrant neighborhood replete with thriving small businesses, healthy living/leisure activities, and excellent dining choices. There is always something new to try and new faces to meet in Manayunk!
