We bought our house in the Longfellow neighborhood almost two years ago and we couldn't be happier. Our neighbors are great, there are lots of nearby parks, and plenty of cultural centers like restaurants, coffee shops, local stores, and arts organizations. Plenty of diversity of age, race, and culture too. We feel very blessed to be a part of this community!

Longfellow is the perfect blend. Its a wonderful, quiet, and green neighborhood to start a family while remaining close enough to uptown and downtown to not lose that city living feeling. It has local restaurants and several cute coffee shops, and is very close to the Mississippi river. I highly recommend it!
I loved growing up here! It is a wonderful place to raise a family. I knew all of my neighbors and the kids in my neighborhood all played together. I love the local restaurants in our neighborhood. They are healthy and use local and organic produce. There is an classic movie theater that a lot of families frequent. The Mississippi River is near by and provides a wonderful area for walking and biking. My dog loves going for long walks around down by the river and my family enjoys bird watching. There are many churches, schools, and parks in the community. It is a very close knit, family oriented neighborhood.
