Very accessible to all forms of public transit, so it makes for a great hub for getting around the city. Very walkable to several grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood doesn’t offer much for cultural experience, but the newer apartments are very nice. The neighborhood park, Holladay Park, is nice at first look but is a breeding ground for drug use and violence, unfortunately.

The community is very supportive. I'm a domestic violence survivor starting over and everyone has come together to help me. So grateful
There's a large wandering homeless population, and when I have to take public transport to and from school, they sometimes make it a safety concern (depending on how aggressive they can be). The neighborhood is perfectly safe during the day, but at night can seem unsavory.
