Great area in the city of St. Louis. Perfect location for working downtown with nice assortment of single family housing. Ideal location for young families looking for quality restaurants along with the traditional, solid St. Louis brick housing. On top of it all - safe and tight knit.

Even though I feel out of touch with my neighboring individuals within my city community; I still feel the community support is strong. I enjoy living in South city because of the strong recognition for local owned personal businesses. I love that South City seems to have more personally owned small businesses, than Commercial ones. The local music artist are highly showcased, and are promoted to perform in many local owned bars and restaurants. I look forward to the many, many, many festivals and events that South City seem to have every year. I support and embrace the continuous exposure of cultural customs for many different ethnicity's. I strongly feel that the variety of ethnic culture and customs has not just been encouraged, but has also become the brand associated with the image of South City.

Even though I currently do not have any children, I do wish the schools districts in South City were supported more with educational resources. I have noticed that South County has many wonderfully financial educational support from the community as well as the city government. Unfortunately, South City schools seem not to have equal educational resources and support from the city government for the children who have limited financial resources.
Quiet community that is very central to everything Saint Louis has to offer. It's near many large employers and healthcare options. Cost of living is low.
