I have been in Laveen since there was no Laveen: living in the same are for 14 years has been exciting yet mundane at the same time. With new complexes growing and families expanding, the community can be described as having potential. Local grocery stores and hang out spots are more than just stops, but mini communities.
It has yet to reach its peak, but at the late times of dusk, there is nothing as beautiful as the sunset view stretching across this neighborhood.

This small town has the perfect atmosphere for raising children, furthering your self, and thriving as a person. It is a very welcoming and diverse place that has much to offer the residents and we have everything from cow farms to salsa dancing socials. The freeway does put a damper on things, because it takes away from the hometown feel, but it does make travel faster.
When I first moved to Laveen, it was mainly farming. It was a lovely area and it was quiet. Recently, a new freeway was built and more people have been moving into the small "village". The location of Laveen is perfect, it is not too far from other cities and the energy is high paced. The neighbors are wonderful and the schools are fairly new and innovative.
