I enjoyed attending Old Dominion University. They offer lots of online classes which made it easier considering I work full-time as well.

The newer areas are nice, but the older housings tend to be less aesthetically pleasing. This area is not very dangerous, but home security is recommended.
The area where I live is on a college campus called "University Village". This part of campus for the upper classmen and gives you more of the "apartment style" living. The village is also home to Monarch Way which provides students with many different businesses, restaurants and more.
