Dallas weather is unpredictable. The summer months are HOT- flipflops, tank tops, and shorts rule, with a long sleeve shirt or sweater for eating in restaurants. The Fall and Spring are gorgeous- you're able to sit outside for 7 months out of the year, and there are quite a few thunderstorms/tornado warning in the Spring (April/May months). Of course, we have been under a drought for several years before, but that all changed with the heavy storms this Spring.

The summer months are crazy hot- up to 115 degrees and humid.

Winter is a toss up- there are usually a few very icy days when the roads are very bad.

Most essential wardrobe items- jean jacket, sandals, nike running shorts, puffer vest (perfect for the in between weather) and anything cotton!

Very quiet, but also has plenty of food options. Surrounding the white rock lake which has lake front views. I love to walk around the neighborhood as well, lots of unique terrain, and structural history as well.
People love to eat and drink in Dallas- there are a plethora of restaurants and bars within 5 miles of my apartment, and each of them are unique in their own right. Clubs are mostly downtown, and the late night food options are pretty standard for fast food or diner food.

I love a burger from Goodfriend, A ribeye salad from Uncle Ubers, a Tuna Steak sandwich from Dancing Marlin, and pizza from Carne Rosso!
