Lake View Reviews
I love the walkability of Lakeview and how there's always something going on -- whether it be going out for dinner and drinks, shopping, or a neighborhood fest. Being close to Wrigley Field is very exciting. Personally, being near the lake and safety are two very important things for me in choosing a neighborhood, and Lakeview is perfect for me in that aspect!
Lakeview is a great neighborhood, it is large but much of it is coastal which is great because Chicago has such great lakeside paths and parks. There are some great shopping areas on Broadway and Southport. Lots of good restaurants and bars. And the Chicago Cubs!
Great access to public transport, clean trains, friendly neighbors, close to the lake front (with great beaches), lots of restaurants and bars. People smile at you when you walk by. One thing I would change is the lack of diversity. It's a primarily white neighborhood which is representative of many neighborhoods in Chicago.
