Lake View Reviews
I love the walkability of Lakeview and how there's always something going on -- whether it be going out for dinner and drinks, shopping, or a neighborhood fest. Being close to Wrigley Field is very exciting. Personally, being near the lake and safety are two very important things for me in choosing a neighborhood, and Lakeview is perfect for me in that aspect!
I've lived in Lakeview for six years. It's a beautiful neighborhood, very walkable, lots of street events/fairs/etc., great transportation, and close to downtown, the Lake, and other great areas like Boystown, Roscoe Village, the LP Zoo, DePaul, Uptown, and more.
Lakeview is a great area in Chicago. We are close to the lake and that's always a great place to see and relax by. It's always cooler here during the summer because of the lake. Wrigley is right next door, another amazing spot during the summer. It is more pricey, compared to other neighborhoods in Chicago but it's probably because of the history and it's proximity to downtown.
