King Field Reviews
It's a wonderful neighborhood with a lot of access to nature. A very safe community with a lot of schools and education opportunities. However, it is very wealthy and predominantly white, with little diversity.
Easy bussing to pretty much anywhere in the city. King park is great. In my neighborhood we've had a bunch of families with kids around the same age, and we've all kind of grown up together. It's a great environment. There are lots of pretty new restaurants that have been moving into the area recently, too, particularly on Nicollet. Lots of new bike lanes. Blaisdell gets pretty crazy sometimes during rush hour, it's not controlled well enough (one way, traffic lights instead of stop signs, and there's only parking on one side) but everything west of that is nice, usually very quiet. Very active community, local businesses active in the communities. Block parties and such are pretty good for those reasons.
A safe Minneapolis Neighborhood that is within walking distance of uptown and many great cafes, restaurants, diners, and coffee shops. Snow emergencies can make parking difficult, but it is Minneapolis. The neighborhood has active community engagement.
