I have never seen restaurant diversity in a city like Roseville. From Vietnam to Morocco to New Orleans, Roseville has cuisine from all over the world--primarily through unique ma' and pa' eateries. There are restaurants from every American fast food chain as well, so long as you're willing to look for them (but ones like McDonalds, Taco Bell, or Carl's Junior can be found at nearly every street corner). There are also restaurants which sell every kind of expensive but high quality food, and pubs of various nationalities. Burgers are most common in Roseville, however--so much so that burger joints will open next door to one another and they will all taste delicious yet different.
The public services provided in Roseville are very helpful and readily available. Policemen, firemen, and postmen in particular are always on the move and timely. Parks and highways are kept clean, but nature preserves are becoming smaller and less cared about.. In some ways, our construction programs go too far, re-tarring new roads that obviously do not need it and building parking lots where there are no businesses to fill them. Such high taxes for these public services and for small businesses are not well deserved, otherwise what we receive and what we give is relatively fair in my area.
