Jacksonville Beach Reviews
I've lived in quite a few places throughout Florida and throughout Jacksonville itself. Jax beach has a lot to offer, starting with the beach (of course). There are a ton of shops and delicious restaurants surrounding the area that caters to all sorts of preferences. The traffic can be a bit excessive around certain hours of the day and parking is a nightmare but if you are lucky to find a spot, your day is certain to be filled with fun!
A great little community. There is always something to do here. From the multitude of local festivals, to the active beach area, to the wonderful sense of community at many places, Jacksonville Beach is a fantastic place to live in or visit. There are multiple fantastic restaurants right on the beach. There are also plenty of festivals that go on right on or near the beach. These can range from massive music festivals, to locally run marine wildlife information events. NO matter what, though, it is always a good time.
I visit Jacksonville Beach all the time both for the beach itself and for my eye appointments at the Atlantic Eye Institute. The people in the area are very friendly and the intensified police presence ensures you feel secure at all times. I’ve never felt unsafe while visiting Jacksonville Beach. The restaurants in this area are as diverse as they are plentiful. Each seems to have its own unique flavor that adds to the overall like ability of the coastal region. Also, I have to mention just how beautiful this place is. Palm trees and tropical plants are abound and the summer sun’s reflection on the water never gets old here. I wouldn’t ever live here because of the high housing prices, but I’d love to spend every vacation for the rest of my life at Jacksonville Beach.
