I have lived in Hyde Park for almost all of my life. It is a very quiet, green grass, suburban area. The neighbors are really nice and considerate. It is also a very safe place to live. There are rarely any troubles if there is any trouble hyde park police station is literally down the hill. Schools are affordable I believe there are two public schools and the remainder are private schools. Schools around this area provide great education (some schools include: Delphi Academy, Thatcher Montessori School)

Hyde Park is a quiet neighborhood. Its safe for the most part, but be careful at night. If walking on the street alone at night, be vigilant. Transportation is decent. To get to Boston, there are a few bus connections that will take you to Forest Hills station. Also there are three local commuter rail stops in the town. Hyde Park Station, Fairmount, and Readville. All are in walking distance if you're willing to exercise. Hyde Park is a combination of suburban and urban living. There are also beautiful houses that add to the scenery.
Hyde Park is a neighborhood in Boston with a very diverse population. Though some are held occasionally, more community events would be nice to see. The schools in Hyde Park are better than many others in various Boston neighborhoods. There is plenty of public transportation in the area for those who prefer commuting.
