Plenty of DC transplants and professional from Out-of-state and natives. Friendly with plenty of children and private and public schools nearby. Highly rate Roland Park Public is K through 8 with diverse teacher-pupils is ..6 miles away. Leafy, English brick, mortar primarily. Mostly narrow streets with plenty of parking. Most houses for sale move quickly.
Some have been redesigned inside. Several bars/restaurants w/in 1 mile or less. Compare COL to where you live.

Homeland is a truly beautiful neighborhood and, for me, tops the “holy trinity” of neighborhoods in North Baltimore (Homeland, Roland Park, and Guilford). There is very little crime, especially compared to the rest of Baltimore. The duck ponds in the heart of Homeland set it apart from other neighborhoods. Insofar as public schooling, look no further than Roland Park Elementary/Middle School for elementary and middle school or Baltimore Polytechnic Institute for high school.
Low crime and old historic homes with trees galore and lakes. Ponds. Wildlife. Just 1/2 mile from county line Towson. Young professional families. Close to excellent multiple private schools
