So glad we moved here! Quiet, well kept, and diverse. The people who live here are all very friendly and really care about each other and the neighborhood. Lots of people are involved in the various community organizations. Perfectly situated to public transportation. Lots of shops, salons, great restaurants, and attractions in the area. Also, some great spots for the more outdoorsy types!

A quiet neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia. Plenty of places to go out for dinner or drinks (Dagwoods, the Ashburner). Easy access to 95. Close proximity to Pennypack Park and the Delaware Waterfront. I've lived year for several years and have never felt unsafe.
I would definitely move here again.
I am currently having a bad experience in my area. I am scared to walk outside because someone is always honking or whistling at me, sometimes even trying to get me in their car. Prostitutes work two blocks away from me, and many of my neighbors use drugs such as heroin. I love Philadelphia because I grew up here and there are so many beautiful things to see if you look hard enough. We have amazing museums and orchestras, better than any other city I have been to. However, in the future if there is not a change the area will become impoverished and full of more crime than it already is. I do not want to be scared to live in a city I love.
