So glad we moved here! Quiet, well kept, and diverse. The people who live here are all very friendly and really care about each other and the neighborhood. Lots of people are involved in the various community organizations. Perfectly situated to public transportation. Lots of shops, salons, great restaurants, and attractions in the area. Also, some great spots for the more outdoorsy types!
I like that Pennypack Park is my backyard. I can sit in my yard or my home and watch the birds, deer, and other wild life go about their way. The area is very friendly as well. Lots of families in the neighborhood. A great place to raise a family or grow up as a kid. I wish others that visit our parks would keep it clean when they leave. There is always trash around. Maybe if there were scheduled events at the park for visitors they could enjoy the park and learn why it is important to keep it clean.
A quiet neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia. Plenty of places to go out for dinner or drinks (Dagwoods, the Ashburner). Easy access to 95. Close proximity to Pennypack Park and the Delaware Waterfront. I've lived year for several years and have never felt unsafe.
I would definitely move here again.
