So far the crime and violence are very low. As stated before, you are going to have crime wherever you go. I've had the police at my house once due to my alarm. They stayed at my residence until I arrived there.

The neighborhood that I lived in prior to moving to this address was full of violence. I woke up nightly to gun shots. There were non reported rape incidents. I never got to know my neighbors because my mother would not let me and my sister go outside and play much.
As much as I hate to say it, there isn't vey much to Dayton. The atmosphere is isn't anything spectacular. If I had the choice to live here again I would most likely say yes because the cost of living in Dayton, Ohio is so low that I could live here and travel more often. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the greatest place on earth, I would give Dayton a 3.5 because I don't believe it has reached its full potential in a long time. I don't see a very promising future for Dayton as of right now.
