This area is growing in arts and culture. Job opportunities seem to be growing for larger companies. There is a ton of outdoor recreation available. You can experience almost all of the modern conveniences, yet still be lost in the wilderness quite quickly if you want to be.

Downtown stores are very good but a lot of the stores are moving to the Village, which is a disadvantage.
I know that people who apply for a lot of jobs would most likely get at least one interview back.
