Local businesses seem to be thriving, the most popular and frequently reoccuring "shops" would often cater to the more mature crowd since they are often pubs/bars and clubs. There are varying eateries from all life-styles, from vitamin shops for people who workout, vegan shops for the animal rights actvists, and Asian themed restaurants for those who are itching to try something new. All in all, the services in my community are relatively all available for people's needs.

Personally, as much as I enjoy the shopping, there's not much else. It's nice a place to grow up in in terms of safety but the diversity is very low for California standards and the overall conservative values of the population can be very frustrating
Although Roseville doesn't have all four seasons(e.g. summer, autumn/winter without snow but fairly cold weather due to situation in Northern CA), The weather has very sunny and super hot months as well as super cold and windy rainy months. Heat waves have been growing longer so there are more drouts here than usual. The most essential item to wear here would have to be a long sleeve top for the cold mornings and fairly warm afternoons.
