Grew up in this neighborhood and it was safe, family friendly, close to Cal State Hayward (now Cal State East Bay).

Been here my whole life. It's a great environment. Only thing is Hayward leaders are poor at their position and compromise the people at the expense of their health.
I live in a quiet middle class community where people take pride in the appearance of the front of their homes. There are parks nearby and plenty of scenic walking trails.
