Hancock Park is a very family friendly area with places like Larchmont and is close to the grove, lacma, korea town, etc. I have lived here since I was born and it is great. The only issue would be that there aren’t great public schools, but the families usually send their kids to a place like Harvard Westlake, Campbell Hall, Marlborough, or another private school in LA.

I LOVE Hancock Park but there needs to be an update on this site. For a fact the median rent here is NOT $1800. Perhaps they mean in 2008 not 2018. And on a personal opinion this neighborhood CANNOT be below ranking to Carthay?!
Hancock Park is more then a step above. I highly recommend the site be updated or remanaged.
Hancock Park is a wonderful neighborhood to live in. You’ll love the tree line streets and historic charm of the neighborhood as well as the walkable distance to Larchmont Village shopping district.
