Generally friendly neighborhood, great accessibility, plenty of chain restaurants and the like. The neighborhood is currently undergoing a giant makeover, so we will see if it can keep its charm despite obvious gentrification.
Lived here 50 years and still love it. Best urban small town feel around. Lots of diversity, change, growth and great neighbors and real community.
It's a great community with quirky and original shops and restaurants. Neighbors are really well connected and the Facebook group for the neighborhood is a really useful tool as a resident. Crime has been an issue, however that comes with living in the middle of the city. The commute to either St.Paul or Minneapolis is great and the light rail has been a awesome public service.
