There's a lot of crime and violence. Despite the fact that I was born and raised here, I have always known that I will not live here when I get older. No matter where you go you always have to be careful with the way you talk, or act, because you never know how someone will react to it. In addition to that, this city is very military orientated, and in the case of anyone ever going to was with us, this city will be one of the main targets.
Although in a way the community is close because of family ties, the corruption and bad people that live in this neighborhood make the side of town I lived on, not a safe place to raise kids or guide them in the right direction. There's too many bad influences that are brought upon the kids that live in my old neighborhood, rather there are kids who make it out but a majority end up coming back not making it anywhere in life. It's sad. I really can't say if there is a future or not, I hope there is because whenever something good or positive come along, the bad people always mess things up in the end, in a way it's like we get privileges taken away from us and we're considered that "corrupt" neighborhood of the city of San Antonio.
This area is in a place where crimes are not very well known. Everything and everyone is civil with one another. This area is a true example of what neighborhoods all across the world should live in as well. It's not terribly bad, but it's not the #1 best. It has its problems, its downfall experiences, and its conflicts. Overall, it's worth living in.
