It's very convenient to go shopping for whatever products you may need in my neighborhood, as Target, Home Depot, and Shop Rite are just blocks away, but there aren't many local businesses that offer the same quality that these big companies offer. There's a 711 very close that is open 24/7, which is convenient, but also pricey. There aren't many quality restaurants or salons in the neighborhood, but there's always something open. There are many drug stores, but are all big companies.

It's a pretty safe area considering weather hazards. The worst time of year is usually winter, with occasional bad storms that can produce icy streets and frozen pipes. Summers can be very hot, but not dry. Typical northeastern weather.
There's a lot of Chinese restaurants that are just pick-up, with no eat-in or delivery options. There's a few dive bars, with Michael's Place being my favorite. There's a lot of pizza delivery options.
