The problem is this used to be a better neighborhood. But then businesses left and did not return. there all these camps in the washes. Stay south of Warm Springs. Plenty of crime along Sunset Road and people hanging out and drink in the open in front of stores. No kidding at the Bus stop the other day a guy pulled down his pants and took a dump! Increase in apartment burglaries in the Camdens. A lot of sketchy characters there.

I rarely have any issues in our neighborhood, but just recently we did have two policemen knocking on our door late at night. One of our neighbors called 911 due to a couple of strange men knocking on their door around 10p.m. claiming that their car broke down and started asking weird questions about our neighborhood. The police showed up immediately but by the time they arrived, the men had disappeared and no vehicle anywhere near seemed to be broken down. The police knocked on our door because we forgot to close our garage door and they just wanted to inform us of what had happened and also to make sure that nothing had been taken from our garage.
The city of Henderson is a great, safe area where I have enjoyed very much living and growing up here. There is so much to do, and the location is awesome. I love that it is close to Las Vegas and Boulder City, and is a short drive to our neighboring states. When my parents decided to move here, I think it was the best decision they ever made. I would definitely continue to live here and when the time comes, start a family here.
