Grand Boulevard Reviews
Beautiful homes with lots of new construction and rehabs going on! New retail options going in and close to the lake. Quick commute to Downtown as well!
Currently, the Bronzeville neighborhood on Chicago's south side is a great neighborhood, especially for a young African American male such as myself. The neighborhood has such a rich history and you see it in just about every part of the neighborhood. Also some the food industry in the area is booming with exotic and wonderful flavors and smells. However, the public schools in the area do not seem to fit my level of education. If given the chance to move back, I would consider it due to the schooling issue. I am one of the few examples to leave the neighborhood in search of a better education than offered in the neighborhood. If given the opportunity to move back I would highly consider it!
The area I reside in is an up and coming friendly neighborhood for people to enjoy everyday life and children to grow up happy and healthy. Before then, the area was saturated with ghetto abandoned project buildings that attracted robbers, drug addicts and drug dealers, alcoholics, and prostitutes that made the environment unsafe and unwilling to live in. But now due to new construction and social changes, I am very happy to be part if the Bronzeville neighborhood!
