The local businesses in Portland are amazing! It has a different vibe compared to chain stores that are commonly everywhere. For instance, the laundromats here are completely different. It has a urban vibe of innovative and chic. It actually makes laundry fun instead of the standard.

I enjoy my neighborhood, everything is very accessible and organized. There's a lot to do in Portland, restaurants and other establishments everywhere. There is a homelessness problem, which is unfortunate.
Compared to where I grew up, Portland offers a lot of different food. It's very diverse and its common that most of the food industries are independent rather than chains.
