Golden Glades/The Woods Reviews
I would say that it is extremely easy to get what you need (no matter what on earth It is that you're looking for) in Jacksonville. There are just SO many store types. Jacksonville has what I call a "local pride" to it, so mom and pop shops that are decent and provide what we need, become POPULAR. Angies Subs, Cinottis Bakery, Sliders, Campeche Bay, Biscottis and Al's Pizza are some extremely popular mom and pop places to eat in Jacksonville, just to name a few. I prefer more mom and pop shops for purposes of variety, experience, relativity to the people of our town, general lenience/flexibility and the comfort of knowing those high up in the operations of it all. However, the big companies still outnumber the small and I can't decide whether it's good or bad. I just don't think that without being able to take a quick car ride to Mcdonalds, Starbucks, Winn Dixie or Home Depot, I'm not sure I'd have everything I need in my daily life!
Overpopulated, constant construction with increasing road size and expanding neighborhoods making traffic constantly too heavy and too densely populated.
Well, Florida has some crazy weather. During the winter it can be freezing one week and hot the next. It does rain a lot, which I always thought ironic for the Sunshine State, and large storms are common. Mostly it is sunny and warm here. Actually, make that hot. Jacksonville Florida gets really hot in the spring and summer and stays warm through a large part of the fall. My wardrobe is mostly summer clothes-lots of tank tops, shorts, and flip flops- but I have clothes for the other seasons too. the weather here has made me love going to the beach and pool or just hanging outside.
