I have lived in the Glenville neighborhood most of my life. I have seen a lot of changes as far as businesses and individuals who succeeded by going to college and sharing their experiences with the youth and residents of the community. I too have been sharing what I have to offer and I see a big difference in the community as a whole. One thing I can say is that the Glenville neighborhood is a family oriented neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and the location is great . The homes are lived in, and the ones that are not, have been torned down for the safety of all.

I love the neighborhood that I grew up in. For those of us who were raised there, it’s more like a giant family. I love that people in the area know me and my children. Everyone pretty much knows who everyone belongs to. There’s always a place to get warm or a bite to eat. It does seem like the parenting is dying though. I would love to see the village coming back. When the whole neighborhood raised all of the children together.
Glenville neighborhood is the best of all the neighborhoods in my opinion. I have lived in the area all of my life and there are many opportunities to get involved with. I also like the area because the location is excellent if you have to travel on the bus. I would like to see more job opportunities for the Glenville area so that the high school students can work and play a part in the development of of their respective area of interest.
