I grew up in Glendale Utah. It was considered to be at the time the "ghetto." Glendale was deffinetly not Brooklyn or Compton yet it still had it's moments. I remember waking up to gun shots and sirens on more than one occasion. I always laid there wife awake afterwards thinking about what just hapoened. I would start to feel upset about it so I would pray for them. I would end up falling back asleep with those thoughts and prayers in my heart and mind. Glendale is my home and it's what i know. If I look past the negative. I see the community parties at the park. Summertimes with my friends and family. My first date, kiss, and true love. I see the other end forbthe spectrum and It brings a smile to my face. Glendale can bring alot of joy to ones heart. It can offer you an affordable home along a solid foundation to build and create alot of beautiful moments and memories...

Living in Glendale, I see so much diversity and talent. But considering where we are located, it's a shame to see all that talent not going into use and eventually dying off. Our community is somewhat engaged but more could be done if our neighbors are more interactive. That is what can be done to have a greater sense of community in Glendale, Utah.
I live in the Glendale area which I've heard before that it is a bad neighborhood to be around because of crimes and violence. When I first moved here, everyone was very kind and we have not yet had any issues living here. I've seen some neighborhoods that are in worse condition where kids are afraid to play in their front yard. I believe that the area that I live in now will stay peaceful now and in the future.
