I've lived in Fresh Meadows all my life and honestly its a beautiful neighborhood with enormous oak trees on every corner you turn. To an uncommoner, Fresh Meadows might not look special since all the houses and buildings look the same. But if you careful gaze, you'll acknowledge the diversity and how each family has made their little home their own. Hopefully, in the near future, I would life Fresh Meadows to create community activities like they did many years ago. It would unify the community even more.

Fresh Meadows is a very safe neighborhood! No issues walking home alone at night. It is also very well taken care of during bad weather,; they plow periodically and even salt before it starts snowing. They constantly spray for bugs and clean the neighborhood. There is also someone on watch during most hours! The shopping center, movies, and restaurants nearby are great! The downside is that there really isn't much of anything going on late nights for adults.
I have lived in Fresh Meadows for most of my life. I am raising my kids in the same community that I grew up in because of the aspects that I like about this community. The location is near major highways and buses. The school district is good. Being considered an urban area, there are many gems that make it feel like a suburb. One thing that I would change if I could, would be the community outreach and events that are in the area. I wish there were more opportunities for my children to get involved.
