It has great entertainment and the best restaurants! It is very chill for the most part and I have loved living here the past 7 years. My only complaint is the rise in theft, garbage and the increase in homeless population that has risen through out the past few years.
I lived in Fremont for 6 years and it was lovely! It is centrally located in Seattle with plenty of bus routes or easy access to other parts of town. In both lower and upper Fremont, everything you may need is within walking distance. Cafes, bars, restaurants and grocery stores are just around any corner. The only downside is that street parking can be limited at times.
Fremont has tons of cute shops and is very friendly to walk around. There's tons of variety in the food - from pelmeni to pizza! There are also a lot of art installations, like the Lennon statue. One star less because some of the major intersections are confusing, even as a local.
