There could always be more events. I'm not even sure what Glendale is really known for, so it's a bit difficult for me to describe. Even for the 4th of July there weren't any real events being held in this city, so my family and I traveled over to Santa Monica to see what was going on. I think one of the more popular places to go to in Glendale is the Americana, and I think they're trying to do more things to make this place more tourist friendly (as the Americana is known for being like the Grove).

It's pretty safe in my area, so I feel okay enough to go running outside. I wouldn't mind living here if I had to do it all over, I guess. Though because it's in the valley it gets pretty hot here, and I do prefer living by the ocean since I grew up in Hawaii. This city gets a bad rep for some reason, but it's really not that bad. I know the city is doing more to make it a more popular place (like adding modern museums or improving their malls).
It's not bad. There's a pretty good range of restaurants with all sorts of ethnic foods, like Korean, Greek, American, and Japanese, so I'm satisfied. I was even glad to find a really good ramen restaurant in the area, because I thought the closest one was in Burbank.
