The local businesses in my area is out of this world. They offer many items that you wouldn't even imagine that a small family owned store would say. They have everything from household products, animal food, chips, soda, candy, desserts and they even make hoagies and cheese steaks. They offer everything at a reasonable price, and they always make there sandwiches with much love!

Mom-and-pop shops are in my opinion better than big companies because Mom-and-pop shops are family owned business so they know exactly how the business is supposed to be functioning and how their products much be created. In big companies, all of their products are packaged and shipped from different parts of the country. Usually, most of the food in these big companies are processed food or microwavable food which means that your not going to get a well tasteful meal like you would at a mom-and-pop shop. At a mom-and-pop shop they are dedicated to serving you a well cooked meal for a reasonable price. Also, they use fresh ingredients that are delivered to them daily. In my opinion , mom-and-pop shops are better than big prices with the price; food; service that they offer; and the taste of the stuff that you are purchasing.

The employment in this are is decreasing dramatically. The economy isn't doing too good and a lot of people in the area is getting laid off. The top employers/companies in the area includes, hospitals, lawyers, septa and other jobs that many people use or need all the time. Most people in the area are trying to meet ends meet for themselves and their family. Many people are trying to receive all the benefits that they can to try to pay some of their bills, keep their house, put food on their table and for necessitates that they may have.
It's terrible. Only possibilities at McDonald's and Pretzel factory
