I choose this neighborhood because it was affordable yet was not that bad. Everyone made it seem horrible and trust me it has its days, but its decent for the price. If I had more money, of course I'd live elsewhere but that is not the case. Compared to the country (AND I TRAVEL FREQUENTLY) Detroit is no different from Atlanta, Las Vegas or Miami. All Cities have their downfalls. Regardless, if I stay in this neighborhood, I will forever live near Detroit.
Everything in by area is either abandoned or is not in the best condition. Therefore it is very hard finding or getting quality service for your money.
Cimr and city has gotten a lot worse compared to when I first lived over here but education has gotten better.
