I grew up on SE 76th Powell I went to Atkinson Elementary, Kellogg Middle School. I had a great childhood on Powell, Holgate, and Foster. Walking with friends from school to MT. scoot community center. I learned how to play baseball as a kid in the great SEP league. I take my two sons to Creston pool. It sad seeing how high prices everything got. I would raise my kids down there.
It's not a rich neighborhood, but it's decent and people are friendly.
There are some burglaries now and then but overall it's pretty safe and people are nice.
