Five Points Reviews

Five Points neighborhood in Denver is my favorite place to live for so many reasons. I have lived and worked in the neighborhood for a year now it is unique, historical, charming and alive. We have a great community feel and Five Points is super walkable as well as bike friendly. The immediate area provides easy access to several beautiful parks, restaurants, bars and music venues (when they were open).

It's a pretty cool neighborhood, I grew up here and I always see familiar faces. Very dog-friendly neighborhood I would say, there's even a dog park across my home. A lot of fun little small local businesses.

I'm a native so my opinion might be a little bias. It is a busy neighborhood just about five city blocks away from downtown Denver. The neighborhood is very active, bikes and scooters easy to rent from all around the city. People love dogs, there are many dog parks, including off leash for fur babies to roam freely. Construction is everywhere, the gentrification of the city is in full boom and getting around feels less like Colorado and more like California traffic.

I live off Park Ave West which is a road that will take you from I25 downtown to Downing street where the neighborhood changes to Cole. It is a busy street and sometimes the commute is easy, and other times it's at a standstill.

The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, diverse, and close to downtown. The light rail runs through the neighborhood making it easy to access the rest of the city. Street parking is fairly easy to find. However housing prices continue to rise. Lots of cute local shops and restaurants! This is great neighborhood to walk through. You're guaranteed to find a cute shop or eatery to stop at.

Five Points is an incredibly interesting up and coming neighborhood in the city of Denver. Riding the line between Industrial Warehouses and center of Art and Culture, it has some of the most amazing murals I have come across in the city. It also has the most excellent restaurants. Though the parking may be slightly shady sometimes, it's worth it for the culinary experiences on display here. Take a walk around this neighborhood in the daylight and see the art an culture on display. If you're going at night take a buddy along, it might just get a little weird.

the safety in Denver is about the same in the west it good in bad every day so ideal with it the best way i can for my kids and family.

It ok when you have kids to take care of your family over all i need more money to live in Denver so i going back to school to

better myself , so can make more money to live here

With all the oncoming gentrification of impoverished neighborhoods in, and around, Denver I see that there is often a lot of petty crime relating to homelessness. But in terms of harsher crimes, I have seen little to no evidence of its consistency and growth over the years. Of course Denver had the Theater Shooting few years ago, but there is no residual complications from that.

I have grown up in Denver my whole life, and have spent a lot of summers traveling the country with my sisters and grandparents. Out of all the states I have visited, I would definitely choose to stay in Colorado. I think the general atmosphere that Denver provides is one that improves the well being of all and challenges the intellect while encouraging intellectual competence.

I love living here, but because it is in the city it has its pitfalls. I do not always feel the safest walking my dog late at night.

Colorado weather is constantly changing from the beginning of the day to the end. But I love it and feel like no matter what time of year be prepared for any type of random weather change.

I am a renter with no houses in the surrounding area so can not make comment.

It is great I live right in the heart of Downtown and everyone is really friendly and genuinely cares about the well-being of neighbors.

There are lots of great bars, clubs and restaurants. Because I am a third year college student it has been difficult to experience these as much as I would like.

Always lots of local businesses to experience in downtown Denver. Mom-and-pops and large companies whichever is preferred can be found.

From my experience the crime and safety seems really great. My girlfriend is not too worried when she has to leave the apartment without me and that is a good feeling.

There are a host of great companies that seem to always be hiring.
