The Fenway neighborhood is very lively and an overall safe area. It is in the heart of Boston and has easy access to famous museums and of course Fenway Park. The colleges of the Fenway are perfectly located, walking distance from numerous train stations, restaurants, stores, cafes, and tourist attractions as previously mentioned. The neighborhood has a diverse selection of educational institutions and churches. There are plenty of job opportunities in the area from various fields.
Great location–easy access to the T and plenty of options for food, entertainment, and green spaces for recreation. Housing market–rent is a little higher than in other areas of Boston. Also, close to a number of universities so there are plenty of college-age individuals around.
Love the Fenway! Lived here 35 years, worked as a college professor for 30.
Change is inevitable and it can be good.
The "funky Fenway" is hard to find now.
Not the variety of folks that used to live here. Some compassion shown here and there, but higher prices often brings people who only want to see people like themselves. Maybe a silver lining to the Virus is people are kinder and more open.
