Federal Hill Reviews
Nice area but surrounded by bad areas since it's baltimore. There's alot of young people & college kids. It's very diverse and I felt accepted as an interracial couple. Theres so many nice & friendly people in fed but mean people downtown. It's close to the harbor, has alot of places to eat, bars, shops,a few things to do, & a mall. good nightlife. You wont see big chains like walmart. There's ALOT of transportation and easy to get around;theres even a free public bus. Alot of people use it though so it runs late/theres no seats. I just dont like if you walk too far you can end up in a bad area and there's rats everywhere. It's disgusting. You see mice coming out of trash cans, behind houses, running down the sidewalks at night,at the harbor. But that's unfortunately all of baltimore. its pretty safe however crime sometimes spill over from the bad areas.& there's a few ghetto kids that cause trouble. the best place to live in baltimore as long as you're aware of your surroundings.
I love living in Fed Hill- the people who live here are so kind and fun, and the business in the area is great. It’s a very convenient spot to be, and there’s always something to do!
Typical Maryland weather. Winters are cold and overcast summers are hot and humid. Not much of a spring, the weather tends to stay cold then just jump right into summer.
