Although this area has many flaws, many of the pros outweighs the cons. And what area doesn't have negatives! The general community is welcoming and very casual. The people here are so diverse that you'll definitely find people who are like-minded and enjoyable to spend time with. It isn't an understatement to say that there are a lot of food places around here. The number of milk tea boba places are limitless, which are great to-go-drink or -snack places, and nice casual hang out areas. The food here is generally very good and pretty diverse. We have an exceptional number of Vietnamese and Mexican food places to point out.

I absolutely love the house that I live in! It is a spectacular place to call home. The farmhouse is very old, big, and comes complete with a garden that has orange and lemon trees, a garden, cats, and chickens. Best of all, we are the only street on the house. This makes evenings and weekends a very peaceful place to reside.
Most of the businesses close to my house are independently owned and operated. This makes shopping a more personal experience because business owners often remember me, offer a warm greeting, and provide me with wonderful customer service. My house is located near the downtown area of San Jose, CA, so the neighborhood is a mix of industrial, urban, and residential, and that gives a variety of businesses. The ones I frequent range from the water store (where I buy drinking water), the launder mat, Costco with a gas station, Grocery Outlet, and a Target within a larger shopping center. I can get most everything I need within the area, but do often go to another part of town to buy my groceries.
