It is so peaceful! I'm so happy I moved over here. The neighbors are super friendly and caring. On New Years, one of my neighbors made me cinnamon buns. The parks are really nice and the kids are always out playing. I would recommend.
Goodyear is a very nice clean area to live it. What I like best is living close to the Goodyear Ballpark because there is alway family friendly activites happening there. The stores, gyms, parks, coffee places, Resturants are closed by and there is a huge Harkin Movie theater in the area. The only thing I would add would be an Indoor Mall in the area.
HOA fee increases are terrible. The neighborhood has been stagnant after the market crash in 2006. Business development is poor and shopping is over 10 miles away. They are having a difficult time with the budget as evident with, bad landscaping, weeds, and relentless fee increases. Police concentrate their time on speeding tickets while houses are being robbed.
