I like Encino because growing up it was a safe and lively neighborhood. It has exciting events and festivals multiple times throughout the year. The neighborhood has amazing places to eat, hang out, and meet new people in a close proximity. The commute time is very good and I am able to get to my destination in great time. It is a great environment with neighbors, building trusting relationships with them. It has a low crime rate, making my family and I feeling very safe. There is many recreations in the city and many places for children and adults enjoy. The public schools are excellent, allowing students in all grades to get the best education and opportunities.

Heavily populated with Jewish and Middle Eastern residents. People who live here are kind and there are many local eateries to choose from. However, there is crime at night, particularly car break ins. There is also a decent homeless population.
Relatively quiet and not too much traffic. Many grocery/convenience stores, coffee shops to get work done, and popular eateries. Some areas do not feel safe after sunset; some car theft and vandalism.
