I've lived here for 3 years and it's such a charming neighborhood. Everything is within walking distance and I can go for morning runs on the UC berkeley campus. I also have easy access to great food in the Elmwood shopping district and Telegraph avenue. It's also a really easy commute to the city with 3 BART stations to choose from.

I love living here especially as a college student. It is close to campus, the fraternities, and the hiking trails. I love Berkeley and everything about it. I love the food, the people, and how close everything is. I also love that I can take the bus anywhere!
It was a huge shock coming here from where I originally lived. There is a huge homeless population as well as common, obvious drug use. Crime is also a huge issue. However, as a college town, the food is pretty decently priced. Housing is way too expensive for college students though, and finding housing is very frustrating.
