There are many great restaurants on Mississippi Avenue. Por Que No?, Laughing Plant, Mississippi Pizza are all popular restaurants in the area. There are many bars in the area, but not a lot of dancing options within walking distance. There are several options a short drive away. Fun salsa dancing at Aztec Willies. Good Foot has some great nights for dancing and Dig a Pony has some good Djs for dancing.
I have lived in this area all my life. Its a pretty nice place to live in a convenient area. It's really sad to see all the gentrification. Black families and culture being driven out for over priced high rises and bougie shops.
