It was interesting living here. Ive lived in the area for around 9 years and wouldnt change it. The area is what prepares you for the real world. Its a love hate relationship with the city though so I couldnt complain. Even going to school in the area was a love hate relationship as well, Washington Leadership Academy is filled with the residents of Edgewood and surrounding areas in the DC region.
There are not a lot grocery stores, restaurant, or coffee shops, but it is a quiet place and can take a bus or metro to stores conveniently.
Most people go to work in downtown, so here are not many jobs.
