Every once in a while, a stranger would come knocking on my door trying to offer sales. Even when I refuse, sometimes he or she would try to use a forceful voice and wouldn't leave until I threaten to call the cops. I wish my neighborhood can have a neighborhood camera installed to detect anything suspicious. When calling the cops, it takes a while before they come to assess the situation. Strange cars can sometimes be seen parked across the street for hours with at least one person in it who seems to be observing the neighborhood. Although the neighborhood is usually peaceful and quiet, there will sometimes be occurrences where my sense of safety is questioned.
My hometown I pride in the available places you can find terrific food at affordable prices. This city provides one with the opportunity to dine in almost any kind of cuisine in existence. You can choose to eat at a hefty-priced restaurant, or choose to eat at a fine restaurant at a lower price. The options are definitely limitless. Even I haven't been able to try out every food place available in this large city!
The crime/vandalism here can get very bad. Thieves/vandals regularly break into neighbors cars on this street. On two separate occasions, someone broke into my car parked in the driveway, destroying my windows. There was nothing valuable in the car for the thieves to steal, only sentimental items, such as homemade cds, jackets, or sweaters. Of course I made police report, but they didn't do much to catch the thieves/vandals. I already had a car alarm, and motion-sensor lights. Which were their only suggestions.
