Eckington has become and still is becoming one of the most vibrant parts of DC. There is so much development being done right now including large parks and new retail, restaurants, and a climbing gym, art studios, art gallery to be. Probably many more things I am not aware off. The closeness to Union Market is great, too.
I am happy to have moved here and are excited for the future of this neighborhood.

The local businesses are mainly family owned and have a stake in the neighborhood.
Employment is great but not the best in the city mainly because it is a residential area.
