There are always people walking, jogging, or sitting outside the many establishments, making for a safe place to walk even at night.
Eastown is a great place for young people and professionals alike. It’s the next step before settling down in a suburb. Filled with tons of local shops and foods- there is always something to do!
There are parts of Eastown that are well kept and safe; these areas have amazing small businesses and restaurants. But then there are other areas that are not so nice, safe, or clean. I never experienced any harm while living in this area, but I also know which areas to avoid.
