Fantastic small and comfortable community. Progressive, and fun. Several great bars and places to eat, and generally very safe. Home to lots of college students and a generally younger populace.

Eastown is an aesthetically pleasing corner of Grand Rapids. Restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and bars are found throughout this mixed-use neighborhood. Eastown is cycling-friendly and has a fair amount of public transportation options. There are always people walking, jogging, or sitting outside the many establishments, making for a safe place to walk even at night.
Eastown is a great place for young people and professionals alike. It’s the next step before settling down in a suburb. Filled with tons of local shops and foods- there is always something to do!
