The school district that we live in is amazing. The community is very proud and supportive of good schools, programs and teachers. They use resources well for the most part. For example the high school uses the city bus for transportation rather than investing in a busing system that the majority of students would not use.
This is an older neighborhood. The architecture has apparnetly changes over time given quite a bit of variation to the nieghborhood. Some of the remodled homes are a bit strange and there are some front yard design schemes that are odd, but in general there is a nice mix of home and the neighborhood has character.
For me the weather is perfect. I does rain quite a bit. On the other hand that is why it is so green. It's worth the trade off. Wind storms or rain storms occur from time to time, but weather is typically pretty mild.
